Welcome!

This time last year I laughed at the thought of having a blog! A lot has happened in the last year and here I am writing my first entry.

Over the past year I’ve changed jobs, got a mortgage, trained for a half marathon and watched friends get engaged, married and having babies. Life is definitely eventful and throwing some ‘adult’ like changes my way.

Before I continue you need to understand I’m not a big reader. The idea of writing something (let alone someone actual read it) sounded bizarre. I’m the person who avoided the ‘what are you reading at the moment’ question as I would fear saying ‘nothing’ would damage my attempted image of being intelligent, smart and any other pretentious identity I was trying to create.

Yes I still have that novel beside my bed I started a year ago, but these days I can spend hours reading and writing about trending digital industry topics, emailing anyone that might be interested.

So after some much needed encouragement, my blog is set up and ready to go for entry #2!
